Abstract
The article deals with the ways of enhancement of critical thinking of students on foreign languages lessons which is an indispensable characteristic of a creative personality, highly-qualified specialist. There are shown methods of critical thinking allowing to reach such educational results as skills to work with growing and constantly changing information flows in different fields of knowledge; ability to express thoughts confidently and correctly; generate your own opinion based on comprehension of diverse experience, ideas and viewpoints; solve problems; cooperate and work in a group.
