Abstract

Subject. This work is devoted to the implementation of social initiatives of youth organizations in the Russian Federation. Goal. The aim of the research is to develop specific measures for the development of social initiatives of youth organizations in the Lipetsk region. Method or methodology. The research is based on general scientific methodology, which involves the use of a systematic approach and general scientific methods of knowledge. The results of the work. The paper reveals the essence of grantmaking, the origins and relevance of social work as a phenomenon of the modern world. In the spirit of the aid philosophy paradigm, the principles of socially oriented grantmaking activities in the Russian Federation are revealed. The proposed activities to develop youth initiatives are studied in the department of youth initiatives and projects of the Department of Youth Policy of Lipetsk region, in the department of youth initiatives and projects implementation. Conclusions. Social grants are one of the mechanisms of social support, which aims to ensure the availability and quality of social services for various categories of the population in the Russian Federation. The evaluation of the effectiveness and prospects for the development of social grants provides an opportunity for analysis and development of this important area of social work. In the long run, the improvement of social grant mechanisms will increase the welfare and improve the quality of life of citizens in the Russian Federation.
