Abstract
In article the given researches of fauna of insects (Insecta) are presented northwest Mongolia (river upper courses Kara-Irtysh). The received results testify to high heterogeneity of fauna of this site of Mongolian Altai. Presence of the kinds concerning absolutely different faunistic groupings is revealed. These results confirm necessity of allocation of territory for separate biogeographical area.
