Abstract

The prosecutor’s inspection of the implementation of the law in pre-trial criminal proceedings is the main form of prosecutorial supervision over the procedural activities of the bodies of preliminary investigation and inquiry. The study aims to form an idea about the procedure for conducting prosecutorial inspections in the pre-trial stages of criminal proceedings, as well as about the ways and methods of their organization. The methodological basis is a set of dialectical, systemic research methods. It is proposed to optimize the legal regulation of the procedure for conducting inspections, while unifying practical recommendations and provisions of departmental regulatory legal acts. It is concluded that methodological foundations of the organization of inspections by the prosecutor should be a unified form of the procedure for the implementation of prosecutorial inspections, regulated in detail by law.
