Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze the regulatory framework and quality problems of project management of sustainable urban development in the context of digitalization of the economy, as well as the prospects for their solution. Objectives: consideration of basic concepts and documents in the field of project management of sustainable urban development in the context of digitalization, formation of a list of current problems regarding the quality of the Smart City project, as well as prospects for their solution. The author confirmed the hypothesis that there are a number of issues that require the development of theoretical and methodological foundations for managing the quality of project implementation to achieve sustainable urban development. The research was based on general scientific and special methods of cognition. As a result, the author has compiled a list of current problems in the quality of project management for the sustainable development of cities in the context of digitalization of the economy, and also indicates the prospects for their solution.
