Abstract
На сьогодні одним із найактуальніших питань у травматології і ортопедії є відновлення функцій руху в суглобах і опорності кінцівок. Лікування переломів шийки стегна, особливо у людей літнього віку, вимагає додаткових витрат, як матеріальних, так і моральних. Питання хірургічного лікування хворих літнього віку в даний час не викликає дискусій. Звідси висновок: лікування переломів шийки стегна у хворих похилого віку — це ендопротезування. Воно ефективне й доступне для хворого, який у найкоротші строки стає працездатним.
