Abstract

Introduction. The paper deals with the problem of professional thinking of the organizers of moral and psychological support (MPS) in psychological and pedagogical sciences. Purpose. The purpose of the research is to analyze psychological and pedagogical conditions of development of professional thinking of future masters of military management in the system of postgraduate education. Methods. The problem of the development of practical thinking of the future masters of military management is quite actual and multidimensional, and its content field is at the junction of pedagogical science, philosophy, logic, psychology, sociology, physiology, cybernetics, economics, and others. So, considering the interdisciplinary significance of the problem, professional thinking must also be studied from the side of psychology, as the psychological process of cognitive activity of a serviceman. Results. The analysis of thinking as a psychological cognitive process, in scientific works of foreign and native scientists, considering the regularities of the human psyche functioning in extreme situations, has carried out, in order to improve the moral and psychological support of the personnel. Originality. Organizer of moral and psychological providing – is a specialist who is engaged in educational (pedagogical) work in the troops. His functions have been examined by the new point of view as pedagogical and psychological. As a result, considering the specifics of military-professional activity and functional responsibilities, each officer of the structures of moral and psychological support at the same time is a mentor and psychologist. Conclusion. The characteristics of professional thinking of the organizers of moral and psychological support, which need to be developed to achieve professionalism in the professional military activity, have been considered.
