Abstract
The problems of methods and technologies of teaching Art History at higher school are discussed. The interrelation between method and technology on teaching is revealed. The use of semiotic, dialogue, comparative historical and formal analytical methods in Art History is substantiated. The problem of perceptual unity and understanding of the object of art is focused on. Examples of object of art analysis technology are given. Work of art analysis technology we are sing in teaching students is discussed and critically validated.
