Abstract

In a rapidly changing external environment, manufacturing faces difficulties, which requires adaptive strategies. Manufacturing industries, which are the most important economic entities, constantly adjust processes in accordance with market requirements. The process of in-house and strategic planning requires reliable management information systems necessary for their evaluation. Digitalization permeates all industries, affecting productivity. A variety of information management systems meet the needs of production, emphasizing the importance of individual choice, which corresponds to industry specifics. The role of information management systems in production is crucial because it promotes transparency, integration, and coordination within the industry. The choice of an information system is crucial because it affects the use of resources and the results of manufacturing. Economic and mathematical modeling is becoming indispensable as Python becomes a universal tool for scientific computing. The script developed for Python programming illustrates the calculation of the OSUOP, including key modules and functions.
