Abstract

Lung cancer ranks first in terms of mortality among oncological pathologies. Making a correct diagnosis in case of detection of a round nodules in the lung can take quite a long time, which undoubtedly affects the patient's survival. The aim of this research is to analyze the examination methods used for differential diagnosis between tuberculosis and lung cancer. Based on the results of the study, the need for standardization of an interdisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with a diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis, as well as the need to comply with the criteria of the Fleischner Society in wide practice among doctors of various specialties, was established.
