Abstract

This study used meta-analysis to scientifically and comprehensively prove the effect of transformational leadership of sports leaders on perceived performance. Journals and dissertations published in Korea were selected from January 2010 to September 2022, and 7 dissertations and 4 articles were used for the final analysis according to the selection criteria. The data processing method was Program R, Excel 2016, CMA ver 2, and publication bias analysis and correlation effect size analysis were performed to draw results and conclusions.BR First, the overall effect size of the transformational leadership of sports leaders on perceived performance was found to be medium.BR Second, the effect size on perceived performance according to sub-factors of transformational leadership of sports leaders did not appear to be statistically significant.BR Third, there was a significant difference in the order of dissertations and academic journals regarding the influence of the transformational leadership of sports leaders on the perceived performance according to the type of publication.
