Abstract
The article deals with the ratio of the level of project management with the degree of socio-economic development in the subjects of the Russian Federation. A retrospective analysis of the organization and effectiveness of project activities at the federal level was carried out. A comparative analysis of specific indicators is carried out, which allows to judge the degree of development of the region from the point of view of project management at the state level. The authors applied a comparative method for analysis and in the formulation of individual conclusions.
