Abstract

Need of activization of foreign economic activity at the regional level is proved. The main benefits from participation in foreign trade are marked out. Strengthening of distinctions between regions on the level of economic development is reasoned. An assessment of the reached indicators of food independence of Russia in the conditions of import substitution is given. Change of geographical  structure of export and import of food and agricultural raw materials is presented and analyzed. Dynamics of a share of import of the major food products in commodity resources is analyzed. The conclusion about decrease in dependence on deliveries of import food is drawn. The research of commodity positions of food import of the main trade partners of Russia is conducted. Dynamics of production of separate types of livestock and crop production is presented. The research of process of formation and development of export food potential of Russia and its regions in the conditions of import substitution and the external economic instability is conducted. Characteristic differences in formation of the export potential at the country and the regional level are marked out. Need of transition from quantitative to assortment import substitution is proved. Need of an integrated approach to a solution of the problem of formation of the export potential at the country and the regional level in the conditions of import substitution is proved.
