Abstract

The preparation of biodegradable composite materials based on polyvinyl alcohol, starch and cellulose is described. The resulting bioplastics are a promising basis for use as reinforcing polymer systems of cellulose-containing materials used for the production of packaging materials for various purposes. It has been shown that the use of starch and cellulose inclusions makes it possible to control the physical-mechanical properties of composites and obtain rapidly degradable nature-like materials for practical use under environmental protection conditions.
