Abstract
The article lists the trends of modern terrorism in Russia, provides statistics on terrorist activity, indi-cating the urgent need to strengthen the range of measures to prevent terrorism, including student youth. The importance of the discipline “Fundamentals of Russian Statehood” in the fight against ter-rorism in modern international conditions is substantiated in order for Russian students to understand the importance of the traditional values of their state. Problems have been identified, the solution of which, within the framework of studying the course of this discipline, will improve the effectiveness of preventive measures
