Abstract
The article analyzes the most pressing problems of further improvement of legal education and the practice of training lawyers in regional conditions, taking into account the general paradigm of education development in the modern Russian Federation. The author analyzes the main provisions of the educational policy and legislation of Russia related to the implementation of the constitutional right of citizens to education, and against the background of the general problems of the modern education system characterizes the general theoretical and organizational and legal issues of the implementation of educational activities for the training of lawyers in universities, taking into account regional conditions and needs. The proposals are formulated for further improvement of the theoretical foundations of legal education for the training of lawyers related to the study of the national legal system of Russia and the regional characteristics of its constituent elements of the legal systems of the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as for the organization of the educational process and the restoration of the specialty as the most reasonable form of training lawyers in domestic practice.
