Abstract

The processes of Euro-Atlantic integration and the related reform of the security and defense sector ofUkrainein accordance with European standards are impossible without improving the processes of defense resources management.The basic processes of defense resource management are: defense and mobilization planning processes; logistical, medical and other types of security; management of financial and economic activity, personnel, organizational structure, property, purchases, other types of administrative activity.One way to ensure rapid access to information for its analysis and management decision-making is to integrate existing and promising defense resources management information systems into a single Defense Resources Management Information System (DRMIS).There are several approaches to substantiate DRMIS technology solutions:The first approach is to create a data integration system based on a single unified interface to access a set of heterogeneous independent data sources.The second approach is to create a corporate application integration system (Enterprise Application Integration) that will allow individual information systems to function as a single system. In addition, the use of a service-oriented architecture (Service-Oriented Architecture) will enable data integration functions in the form of services.The existence of different integration approaches gives rise to the task of choosing the optimal solution. Recent trends in information technology indicate a gradual integration of integration approaches. Yes, developers use specialized integration platforms that connect through a special logical component - the data bus. This model of interaction formed the basis of the creation of a service bus for communication (Enterprise Service Bus), which provides a controlled interaction between individual information systems.A method for analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of different options - SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) was used to determine the rational variant of building DRMIS based on a data bus.
