Abstract
The study deals with the theoretical materials on the establishment of contact between juvenile officer and parents of adolescents. The concept of psychological contact is revealed, its theoretical aspect is analyzed. The research substantiates the importance of such a contact and its role in the legal protection of minors. The establishment of the psychological contact between juvenile officer and parents of adolescents is regarded as an effective preventive measure of adolescent deviant behavior. The author identifies the specific characteristics of duty performance by a juvenile officer and highlights the key issues in this regard. The research provides recommendations for establishing the psychological contact between the juvenile officer and the parents of adolescents as a preventive measure of juvenile delinquency.
