Abstract

The article provides an overview of the curricula implemented at the Department of Sociology starting from its foundation until now. A detailed analysis indicates the trends in the development of the study of sociology and the basic issues the department has faced through various periods. Similarly, we have attempted to detect the main results and achievements of these processes, as well as the development of sociological thought and higher education in Serbia and the world. The refinement of the bachelor studies of sociology curricula has had the intention of contributing to a modern approach to the study of social phenomena and a complete transfer of knowledge in the domain of sociology.
