Abstract
Analysis of nucleotide sequences of HIV should be used as an additional tool in epidemiological investigations. Considering the current trend of the emergence of “complex” ambiguous cases of HIV infection, there is an urgent need to consider a filigree approach to investigating cases of HIV infection, with the possibility of using it as an additional tool for epidemiological surveillance, planning and modeling the epidemiological process.
