Abstract

  The current research aims to Dogmatism and its relationship to Psychological Burnout among employees of the Ministry of Health - Dohuk Governorate as a model / Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and the measurement of the level of each dogmatism and psychological burnout, and to know the significance of the differences between the sample members for both dogmatism and psychological burnout according to the following variables (gender, marital status, Geographical location, type of certificate, type of service), and to achieve these goals, the researcher prepared a scale of dogmatism consisting of (33) items covering four fields, they are (social, religious, political, cultural) and the psychological burnout scale consisting of (34) Paragraph covering four fields (emotional, physical, personal, and professional) And both scales are in styles of declarative phrase having alternatives for the answer: (it always applies, it often applies, it sometimes applies, it rarely applies, it never applies). After extracting the psychometric charachteristics of the two scales, the application was applied to the research sample consisting of (703) individuals from Health staff of both gender in governmental hospitals and health centers in Dohuk governorate, and to achieve the objectives of the research and statistically processing data and extracting the results, the following statistical methods were used (percentage, Pearson correlation coefficient, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, T-test), Scheffie test, The ones analysis test, and it was relied on the Statistical Package for Social Sciences SPSS to use some of these methods). In light of the results of the research, the researcher reached a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions that are necessary for the parties who are concerned with the subject of the study.
