Abstract

The work is devoted to an attempt to determine the dialectic speech status of the Circassians living in the Kayseri province and speaking the Kabardian variant of the Circassian language. The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that in this aspect the speech of the Circassian diaspora in Turkey has not been the subject of Circassian (Adyghe) linguistic studies. The research prospects of this topic are seen in the need to conduct in-depth observations of the lively speech of the Circassian diaspora of Turkey in order to further establish its dialect status. At this stage, there is reason to believe that the speech of residents of the Circassian villages in Uzunyayla and the city of Kayseri tend to separate from the well-known dialects of the Kabardian variant of the Circassian language.
