Abstract

The article details the role of volunteer communities fulfilling government orders and reducing the severity of many social problems, taking a comprehensive approach to their solution. Examples of the work of the Action Groups of the international public organization Rotary for many years, which have had a significant impact on the eradication of such dangerous diseases as polio and malaria, are presented. It is told about their efforts in educational work, leading to an understanding of the population of countries in which diseases are common, about the need for a comprehensive approach to solving these problems.
