Abstract

The purpose of the study is to describe the special features of blended learning and propose a series of exercises for teaching younger students (grades 2-4) and comments on them, based on the methodology of blended online teaching of English. Scientific novelty lies in the description of the use of blended learning in secondary schools at the initial stage of education as the main method of teaching English. As a result, the positive aspects of using blended learning were revealed, these include work with information (including information in a foreign language), digital technology and the Internet; development of the ability to learn; the formation of critical thinking; improvement of personal, subject and metasubject results of students; individual approach.
