The General characteristics of the organization of medical supply of the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War are given. К началу Великой Отечественной войны военно-медицинская служба Красной Армии приобрела определённый опыт организации медицинского обеспечения войск во время ведения боевых действий и имела проверенную в них систему снабжения войск и военно-медицинских учреждений медицинским имуществом. В результате медицинские учреждения и медицинская служба Красной Армии к началу Великой Отечественной войны имели медицинское имущество, вполне соответствовавшее уровню развития медицинской науки и практики того времени.
