Abstract

The article examines the composition and content of the issues of the Orthodox periodical of Siberia, the newspaper “Diocesan Vedomosti” for the period from March to October 1917, the time of the collapse of the empire and the transition to a different system of government. The presence/absence in newspaper materials of questions about the proposed church reform, diocesan and parish activities, etc. is considered. The article identifies and characterizes the main issues of the newspaper's publications, its informativeness in the realities of everyday life of Siberian dioceses in the conditions of reform and the participation of the Orthodox printing body in events of national and regional scale.
