Abstract
The article presents the results of calculations for frost resistance according to the standard methodology and the methodology of ROSDORNII with their comparison, the results of a study of defects in road surfaces over time for frost heaving using a thermal imager. During the experiment, temperature profiles were compiled for the existing coating under the initial temperature conditions of St. Petersburg, and the results of a study of the occurrence of frost heaving were presented.
