Abstract

The article examines how innovation infrastructure influences the growth of entrepreneurship within the market economy. It is shown that the majority of entrepreneurial enterprises that adapted to the strict and complex conditions of the market economy were innovative enterprises that conducted marketing research and created internal functional groups or departments that prioritized logistic activity. It is noted that all these mechanisms of action cannot be enough to protect and maintain the competitiveness of enterprises for a long time under the circumstances of a market economy. It is shown that large industrial firms should give more preference to innovative activities in order to maintain their positions in the market for the long term, periodically increase their market share and shape their competitive strategic perspectives. It has been noted that for the successful execution of innovative projects in enterprises focused on innovation, it is essential to develop a robust innovation infrastructure. This infrastructure should ensure stable relationships and reliable system performance overall. At the same time, the article lists the main tasks of innovation infrastructures in large innovative entrepreneurial entities. At the end, necessary recommendations are given to eliminate the current deficiency.
