Abstract

The article describes the characteristics of paid parking as an object of urban land use. The reasons for the appearance of this object, its advantages and disadvantages for modern megacities are highlighted. The general characteristics and criteria for the effectiveness of paid parking are considered, and the features of their perception by the population are studied on the example of Moscow, including on the basis of the analysis of different socio-demographic groups.
