Abstract
The Vyatka River basin within the boundaries of Kirov Oblast was used as an example to consider the issues of norm calculation in terms of different impact types, the issues of the absence of regulatory/methodological documents concerning a number of principal matters, etc. Main outputs of calculation of the norms of permissible impact upon water bodies made in accordance with “Methodical Guidelines on Development of Norms of Permissible Impact upon Water Bodies” have been presented in brief.
