Abstract

The article discusses the basic principles of implementing lean manufacturing tools at industrial enterprises in the construction industry as part of the Labor Productivity national project by examining the experience of Betotek LLC reinforced concrete plants. As part of the Labor Productivity project, Betotek LLC mapped a pilot production run of three-layer reinforced concrete wall panels. 48 sources of losses in the production process were identified. Using the Ishikawa diagram, as well as other methods of analysis, we identified the root causes of the main problems. Options were brainstormed and proposed to eliminate these causes and the best methods for solving problems were determined using a choice diagram. Then, an improvement plan was developed to reduce losses and ensure productivity growth. The practical implementation of lean manufacturing tools at Betotek LLC increased labor productivity by ~20 % after the first year of participation in the project and by ~7 % after the second.
