Abstract

The problem of historical relations with German-speaking nations is widely discussed in the modern Czech and Slovak literature, in particular, in women’s literature. Thus, the research objectives can be formulated as follows: to reveal the specificity of women’s prose, to identify the peculiarities of Germans’ image representation. Scientific originality of the study is conditioned by the fact that Czech and Slovak women’s literature has not been previously investigated by domestic researchers and also by the fact that “women's texts” are analyzed from imagological viewpoint. As a result, it is shown that Germans’ artistic image created by female writers aims to eliminate painful memories associated with Slavonic-German interactions.
