Abstract

The article considers the criteria and indicators characterizing the value of agricultural land. The distribution of agricultural lands in the subjects of the Central Chernozem economic Region from the first to the fourth class of suitability is shown. The method of assessing the suitability of land for agricultural production is described based on the analysis of the level of favored territories in the subjects of the Central Chernozem Economic Region, which includes the Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk and Tambov regions. The presented research results indicate a reliable approach to the selection of indicators and indicators that characterize not only the quality of land, but also their value for agricultural production.
