Abstract

Understanding the essence, similarities and differences between artificial intelligence and machine learning allows you to better understand and apply these technologies to solve real problems and problems in agricultural production. The purpose of the study is to analyze the concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning, taking into account their application in agriculture. It is concluded that artificial intelligence and machine learning are interrelated concepts that belong to the field of computer science and are associated with the creation of systems and programs capable of performing tasks that traditionally require human intelligence. The key features for comparing artificial intelligence and machine learning systems are highlighted. These include the objects of study, the approach to problem solving, the scope of the problem to be solved, and dependence on data. The results of the study can contribute to the development of digital literacy of business entities.
