Abstract

The case of successful surgical treatment of a 22-year-old woman with abdominal injury with combineddamage to the stomach, duodenum, pancreas and aorta is presented. The patient underwent autopsy andremoval of a strained retroperitoneal hematoma, suturing of a defect of the abdominal aorta, throughwounds of the pyloroantral part of the stomach and the lower horizontal part of the duodenum, suturingof a wound of the pancreas and mesentery of the transverse colon. Additionally, an anterior gastroenteroanastomosis was applied with a Brownian anastomosis, with a Shalimov plug of the DPC. The success ofthe operation was facilitated by the rapid diagnosis of vascular damage and stopping bleeding.
