Abstract

The article presents the results of a study on the process of socialization of the digital generation of student youth. Socio-cultural and online risks of life activities of students in conditions of global digitalization are described and ways of their minimization are outlined in the context of substantiation of the focused process of socialization of the digital generation of student youth at the university, based on the knowledge of the new situation of young people’s development, features of their Net-thinking and behavior. The leading ideas of socialization of the digital generation of student youth in the architectonics of higher education are justified (updating of the leading socialization at the university; improving the information competence of teachers; priority of mixed training; harmonization of real and virtual communication of educational entities; formation of information stress tolerance and viability of trainees). The target program “Digital Students: Features of Socialization and Security” is described in the logic of designing certain blocks (“Social knowledge based on the concepts of understanding changes taking place in the information society”, “Social communication in the information and real world”, “Subjectivity of student youth taking into account the challenges and risks of digital society”), implemented in stages (information adaptation, information integration, information activation.
