The article presents the results of the development using sensors tensiometric by the monitoring for moisture of soil in industrial viticulture. Using of the tensiometric method maybe by representative depth of soil, which depends on the type of crop, the year of vegetation, which is especially important for perennial plantings, the method of irrigation and the soil variety. The research was carried out on the sites of industrial vineyards and grape schools in the foothill zone of Stavropol and the Rostov region. The development was carried out taking into account the nature of moisture distribution along the soil profile for irrigation methods: furrows, intra-soil, drip, sprinkling.
