Abstract
The article deals with the issues of foreign language professional competence formation among students of technical universities and technical faculties of higher educational institutions. The idea and methodology of vocationally-focused education are considered. A curriculum formation model under multilevel initial training of students is proposed. The advantages of vocationally-focused education in a non-humanitarian environment are emphasized.
