Abstract
In the Far East, about a hundred production pharmacies continue to function, both as structural units of medical organizations and in the form of prescription and production departments of retail pharmacies. The article presents a review on the allocation of production pharmacies in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, which differ in the quantity and composition of pharmacies. For example, in the Khabarovsk Krai, most production pharmacies are structural divisions of medical organizations. In each case, the presence of a production pharmacy in the region must be considered as an important component of the availability of medical care to the population
