Abstract
One of the most common complications after dental prosthetic treatment results from dentists making mistakes when diagnosing, planning, making preparations for and placing dental implants in patients with combined deformities and complications. The research aimed at enhancing the efficiency of diagnosing and treating adult patients with mesioocclusion combined with dentofacial deformities and edentulous spaces. A clinical case of mesioocclusion treatment is described to report the diagnosing algorithm and some special characteristics of the clinical stages of treating this complicated type of occlusive anomaly combined with dentofacial deformities and edentulous spaces in adults which presents a problem for a practicing doctor. The article specifies the need for a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating such cases, for a thorough selection of patients to be subject to orthodontic preparation as well as the need for orthodontic dentists being given a clearly specified task with the aim of making the prosthetic treatment process effective and giving the desired aesthetic and functional effect.

Резюме Одним из частых осложнений при оказании ортопедической стоматологической помощи является то, что часто врачами допускаются ошибки на этапах диагностики, планирования, проведения предварительной подготовки и окончательного протезирования пациентов с сочетанной патологией и при наличии осложнений. Целью исследования явилась оптимизация диагностики и результатов лечения взрослых пациентов с мезиоокклюзией, сочетанной дефектами и деформациями зубных рядов.
