Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the technology of "Chinese Whispers", especially its digital version, as a possible game method in the process of studying lexical minima of the foreign language. The article focuses on the fact how the process of the analyzed game should be built, what are the pros and cons of the technology, as well as what results can be obtained if it is introduced into the educational process. The scientific novelty lies in the consideration of the yard game described above, familiar to many in its modified digital form, as a full-fledged element of education, which is able to give a tangible result in the study and consolidation of the new studied lexical material in any foreign language. As a result of approbation the "Chinese Whispers" technology in several study groups, the authors formulated a number of recommendations for the best organization of this game, and also highlighted the main advantages and disadvantages of the presented educational technology in teaching foreign vocabulary.
