Abstract
In recent years, Russia has seen the active development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which are one of the key factors in the country’s economic growth. However, despite the positive trends, many entrepreneurs face problems accessing financial resources. In this regard, the state actively supports SMEs through various development institutions, including through JSC «RSMB Corporation, which provides guarantees to SMEs and covers up to 50% of the loan amount. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of providing a guarantee to JSC «RSMB Corporation on the tax deductions of small and medium- sized enterprises in Russia. The study identified factors influencing the growth of tax deductions, and also determined the place and role of SMEs in the Russian economy.
