Abstract

The article attempts to give an analytical review of the collection of the women's headdresses of the Old Believers stored in the Ethnographic Museum of the peoples of Transbaikalia. The quantitative and qualitative parameters of this collection are given in the article. The article reveals the specific features of kichkas, kokoshniks, pozatylnics and other components of the festive, everyday and death complexes in the context of the structural analysis and comparative correlation. The author comes to the conclusion that the information about this parameter of the Old Believers’ life has been collected in the course of such an activity.
