Abstract

The article shows that the strategy of ensuring national security in the Russian Federation is a combination of three basic components, each of which contributes to the solution of independent goals and objectives: economic, social and environmental. The aggravation of environmental problems in Russia is associated with urbanization, which increases the burden on the natural environment due to the growth of the urban population, inefficient development and energy use policies. Their solution requires coordinated actions on the part of federal and regional authorities, which will contribute to the sustainable development of industries and territories, as well as promote national security policy.
