Abstract

The paper substantiates the relevance of using the algorithm for calculating the annual consumption demand for public utilities in a military unit, which is the basis of the Plan for providing a military unit with public utilities. In modern conditions, the uninterrupted provision of public utilities plays a significant role in increasing the combat readiness of the troops, allows catering for the cultural and daily living needs of military personnel, and it is of great importance for protecting their health and maintaining a high moral and psychological condition. Reliable and qualitative provision of public utilities for the needs of personnel and maintenance of military units in appropriate condition is the primary task of the housing maintenance service of a unit. In order to enable the authorities of the housing maintenance services to make a well-founded and justified claim for the necessary funds to be included in the budget with the objective to ensure uninterrupted, complete, reliable and qualitative provision of public utilities for the needs of personnel and maintenance of military units in appropriate condition, it is necessary to have a scientific and methodological apparatus that will allow to make the correct and well grounded decision, confirmed by calculations and economic justifications. The final result of the calculation of the annual demand of a particular public utility is influenced by a large number of various factors that must be taken into account when conducting appropriate calculations of the consumption demand, planning and providing with public utilities. With the help of the proposed expressions, reasonable calculations of the annual consumption demand for public utilities in a military unit (subdivision) can be carried out.
