Abstract

The article provides an assessment of the different systems of keeping Hissar sheep that have developed in the farms of Tajikistan in recent years. The first system is the year-round pasture keeping of Hissar sheep in winter and early spring periods on valley and foothill pastures, and in summer and early autumn - in the mountains on alpine and subalpine pastures. The second system is the pasture keeping of Hissar sheep only in summer and early autumn in the mountains, and in other periods - stable and semi-stable keeping. Pasture maintenance is practically absent. The third system is the year-round stable or semi-stable keeping of Hissar sheep.
