Abstract

For Russia in recent years, the distribution of productive forces, the specialization of production and its concentration do not fully correspond to the conditions for the formation and development of specialized zones with high technologies for the production of agricultural products. However, under the influence of primarily internal and external factors, the importance (or role) of the intensification of agriculture, its transfer to the innovation-investment model of development, increases. This is one of the rational direc-tions for the development of this industry in the face of severe sanctions announced by European countries and the United States. When forming specialized high-tech zones, it is necessary to take into account the natural conditions of the territories where the specialization of the production of one or another type of product has historically developed, there are economic conditions for the prospective development of agri-culture and production resources are able to ensure the growth of gross production of certain types of products.
