The values of family, education, health and career in their perception by generations of “parents” and “children” at the present stage of development of Russia and China were analyzed as the most significant for society. As a result of the analysis of statistical sources of the two countries, the following was found: family values demonstrate stability in content, but a decrease in overall importance for the generation of modern youth, an increase in the value of health and education. The importance of a career for Russian youth is beyond doubt, for Chinese it is decreasing.
