Abstract

One of the main tasks of the authors of the article is the need to identify the most important features of the phenomenon of Adyghe Russian-language literature by the example of the analysis of the story “The Moon Boys” by the contemporary Kabardian writer A. Makoev. The work presents the genre features and peculiarities of the writer’s idiostyle, for whom the moral crisis, largely due to the “dashing 90-ies”, was the main thematic problem of the story. Such a study seems particularly topical at the present time, since Russian-language literature of the peoples of the North Caucasus is one of the most dynamically developing and least worked out directions in literary criticism.
