Abstract
The article reveals the peculiarities of application of opportunities of media space and innovative technologies in the process of studying world literature as the most effective means of educational efficiency at the present stage, substantiates theoretical and practical aspects of using modern forms and methods of teaching in world literature classes. On the basis of examples from own work experience and on the basis of analysis of possibilities of using Internet technologies the article depicts the peculiarities of application of some modern information technologies: web quests as a tool of problem-search training; virtual board as a resource for organizing collaboration on a topic; creation of Internet projects as a means of individualization of the educational process in world literature classes, that increases students' cognitive independence, motivates the need to develop their reading culture and helps to realize the idea of "partnership pedagogy" in literature classes.

В умовах входження України до європейського освітнього простору перед вищою школою ставиться завдання – розвиток ключових і предметних компетентностей студентів у процесі читацької діяльності, формування творчої особистості громадянина України з високим рівнем загальної культури, гуманістичним світоглядом, активною життєвою позицією, національною свідомістю.
Мета статті – розглянути можливості медіапростору для реалізації освітніх стандартів під час вивчення зарубіжної літератури.
Застосування новітніх інтернет-технологій (веб-квестів, блогів, віртуальної дошки, створення інтернет-проектів) в процесі навчання зарубіжної літератури все більше змінюють традиційні методи навчання, допомагають формуванню комунікативних компетентностей та основоположних навичок спілкування.
